So happy to be able to head over to the Bike Shed London show at Tobacco Dock when I was in London. I always enjoy heading over to Wapping in East London as well. Only had a couple of hours to spare this time round though as I had to head out to Maidenhead later. Arrived quite early and it was already packed!
2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S
Let it be known right here…The 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S maybe the most complete motorcycle I have ever had the pleasure of riding. It is full of KTM character and an absolute beast on the road. When KTM Premium Kuala Lumpur and KTM Malaysia asked if I would like to take the 1290 while we were waiting for parts for my 990 to come in, I jumped at the chance. Of course! Mad not to!
Bottega Mediterranea Photoshoot II
When Riccardo Ferrarotti the Chef/Owner of Bottega Mediterranea asked me if I would be available to shoot all the new food items for their new upcoming menu I jumped at the chance. Riccardo is a great friend and a real pleasure to work with.
On Assignment: Lafarge Earthquake Reconstruction China
The wonderful thing about having a photo archive, one of the wonderful things anyway, is the ability to time travel back in time. The photograph’s themselves often outweigh my own memories of the real moment. Assignment’s often come at you very quickly, and with little or no time to prepare. Sometimes you are just on one, and in it, before you know it! I had been in China’s Sichuan region already for many days covering the aftermath of a powerful earthquake that had just devastated the region. I had just got back to my hotel after being out for some days working in the most affected areas. Really last minute this one, but I remember the brief vividly. “Head out to the Lafarge cement factory for a day and document Lafarge’s efforts in recovery and reconstruction in the nearby community. There is a car coming for you in 30mins.”
2021 KTM 390 Adventure
My Mum always told me that the best things always come in small packages. Well, in the case of the KTM390 Adventure that old adage may ring true. Austrian manufacturer KTM needs no introduction. They are well known for their success in the Dakar rally, and for their growling large capacity, heavy weight, v-twin adventure bikes. But wait, is that what an adventure bike has to be?
On Assignment: UNICEF State Of The World's Children 2017 Report (Malaysia)
While the internet has opened up a world of exploration for children, it has also made it easier for bullies, sex offenders, traffickers and abusers to find them.
One country that is particularly well connected is Malaysia. More than 7 out of 10 households have internet access, and connectivity continues to surge. The country also has one of the highest proportions of ‘digital natives’ in the world – youths aged 15 to 24 with at least five years of active internet use.
A growing challenge in Malaysia has been for parents, teachers, policy-makers and the justice system to keep pace with the increasing risks children face online.
Bottega Mediterranea Photoshoot
I have been wanting for some time now to diversify my portfolio. In particular when it comes to portraits I felt I was somehow lacking. So I decided, during these strange and quiet lockdown times, to embark on a self assigned series of editorial style portrait’s. My brief was simple - to photograph my friend’s in their environment doing what they are passionate about. For the first in this series I photographed Riccardo Ferrarotti the Chef/Owner of Bottega Mediterranea.

The 2020 Bike Shed London Show CANCELLED
Sad to hear that the 2020 Bike Shed London Show has been cancelled due to the Corona Virus outbreak. You can read the details via the release on the Bike Shed Show website here. Such a shame as this is a great motorcycle event and the team behind it go all out to make it very special. I’m sad for them but I know this is the right thing to do and they will be back even stronger in 2021. I will be there as well!
Honda Collection Hall Motegi Japan
As Automotive museums and collections go The Honda Collection Hall and Museum near Motegi race track in Japan is no-expense-spared-top-shelf-shit. We were lucky enough to pay the place a visit last month while we were in Japan for the Japanese MotoGP race at Motegi circuit. Just approaching the main building from the outside it’s clear that Honda mean business.
