The 2019 Bike Shed London Show

Last month while back in the UK I had the pleasure to spend a wonderful English spring/summer weekend at the 10th edition of the amazing Bike Shed London Show 2019. The show was held at the glorious Tobacco Dock in East London. If you are not up on things, and have not heard of The Bike Shed check it out here. The show is a wonderful extension of the Bike Shed spirit. A spirit that embraces the passion, and sheer joy of motorcycle culture. That joy, that sheer joy, is for me one of the core reasons why I started motosixfive photography. To explore, through my photography, global motorcycle culture in all its facets, forms, and shapes. I found that joy at the Bike Shed London Show with lots of like-minded people hanging out and sharing our collective happiness and love for all things motorcycle. This is a show by bike people, for bike people. Just wonderful!

I believe that this year was their biggest show to date and the stats for this year’s show, from the Bike Shed website, certainly speak for themselves.

“17,207 People came through our doors during the show, to see 281 custom bikes of which 62 were genuine Shed Builders. There were 550 exhibitors and brands, 5 Bars, 9 live bands on stage plus a separate DJ serving-up vinyl tunes. 1 cigar lounge. 170 deck chairs. 26 picnic benches. 24 huge plants & trees. 69 sofas. 10 tattooers. 10 barbers. 17 food & drink vendors. 1 cinema showing 5 films a day…”

Already looking forward to the 11th edition in 2020!
