Bottega Mediterranea is a family owned and run Italian restaurant in the heart of Malaysia’s capitol, Kuala Lumpur. It’s the real deal. The owner of Bottega, Riccardo Ferrarotti, is a close friend and over the years I have shoot much of their photography. When Riccardo asked me if I would be available to shoot all the new food items for their latest menu I jumped at the chance.

This weekend the Malaysian Hindu Tamil community will celebrate the occasion of Thaipusam. The word Thaipusam comes from the word “Thai” which means “10th month ” in the Tamil calendar, and Pusam which means “When the moon is brightest”.

So happy to be able to head over to the Bike Shed London show at Tobacco Dock when I was in London. I always enjoy heading over to Wapping in East London as well. Only had a couple of hours to spare this time round though as I had to head out to Maidenhead later. Arrived quite early and it was already packed!

When Riccardo Ferrarotti the Chef/Owner of Bottega Mediterranea asked me if I would be available to shoot all the new food items for their new upcoming menu I jumped at the chance. Riccardo is a great friend and a real pleasure to work with.

I'm really happy to announce that my photo project entitled "Home is where the wife is..." has been recognized for an award in this years Nikon International Awards. I shot the project exclusively on my iPhone using the Hipstamatic app.
